MOVIE: QUANTO VALE OU É POR QUILO?

TRANSLATION: "HOW MUCH IS IT OR IS IT PER WEIGHT?"

This is an interesting movie that tells a little about the story of poverty that exists in Brazil and how people take advantage of other people's suffering to get their share in the "social market".  People are just like in slavery seen as commodities. They are just a "polically correct way" to impose the rights of the minorities and the most shrewd ones. The movie shows that the country is always repeating the history, because it is not yet able to change the roots of inequality".

EDUCATION is a serious thing. Unfortunately not so many countries take it as a serious task. Brazil is quite far from ideal. However, it is possible to follow some success models around the world. That's what this section is about! Let's see two videos: one about Finnland education system and the other about Singapore's. In both methods some values remain: teachers are respected both in regard to salaries and preparation. In this way teachers are much more motivated to search for better ways of teaching and improve their own knowledge of the subject. Teachers are seen as the key factor.
